“The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things (Galatians 5:22–23)

God has been at work. Fall is a natural time to pause and notice that work—taking stock of the Spirit’s fruit in our own hearts, in our community, and in the world around us. Ecclesiastes reminds us, “For everything there is a season… a time to plant and a time to harvest” (Ecclesiastes 3:1–2). Autumn invites us into gratitude: gathering what has grown, celebrating together, and preparing for the gentler rhythms of winter rest.
