Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We want you to feel at home when you visit. Here are some answers to a few frequently asked questions.
If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

Edgewood Church is located three miles east of downtown Atlanta off of Memorial Drive between the Moreland Avenue and Maynard Terrace I-20 exits.  The address is 1560 Memorial Dr, SE, Atlanta, GA 30317.  Click HERE to see the map. It is directly across the street from Floor & Decor.  People often say it looks like we have a horse pasture in front.

The main gathering time for Edgewood Church is Sunday mornings at the 10am.  We rarely start on time but that’s okay.

Getting there before the service starts give you time to talk to people, get a cup of coffee, or sit and have a quiet moment before things get going.

If you are new, please connect with us via email or Facebook. We would love to know you “visited” and for you to come again when we start face to face services again soon.

We want you to feel comfortable and free to be yourself. Whether you wear jeans or a dress, flip flops or  dress shoes, PJs or a three-piece suit, you will be welcomed with open arms.  You’re what is important, not what you wear.

Someone will probably say hello when you arrive and help you find where to go. Coffee, tea, juice, oatmeal, fruit and breakfast bars are our Sunday morning staples. You can come right in and sit down or linger by the coffee or on our front porch and get to know someone.

Our service begins at 10 am with music and usually includes a variety of songs, meditative practices, and a teaching or message – all centered on the particular theme of the day.  Our service ends around 11:15 with a blessing given by one of the pastors.

For the time being children will attend our door church with their families, there is a playground and small farm within earshot that the families use also to keep children occupied. Children are an important part of our church and we include this in church as much they are willing.

Under normal circumstances, when we are back in the building, we have an infant/toddler room adjacent to our hospitality area that is a great place to let little ones (under 4) explore.  There is a window into the room so you can peek in anytime.  About halfway through the service, children ages 4 to 5th grade would be invited to meet in the Edgewood Kids room to explore a lesson about God.

No. Edgewood Church is a place where your questions are welcome and your doubts are given space. We would love for you to join us anytime.
